An Introduction

Background

• The game's story takes place in the fictional realm of Teleria, which has been subjugated by the Dark Lord Siroth. Players take the role of an ancient Telerian warrior resurrected to defeat the Dark Lord and restore peace and harmony to the territory. Players must assemble an army for battles in settings such as castles, dungeons, deserts and temples defended by enemies and possible allies.
• Players may explore the Campaign, delve into the Dungeons, fight in the Arena, join a Clan, Battle the Clan's Demon Lord, Battle the fearsome Hydra and even ascend the floors of the Doom Tower in search of adventure, loot and renown.
• The main game consists primarily of story-driven single-player campaign with twelve levels, each level made up of seven stages with four levels of difficulty.
• In addition to the single-player campaign, is a multiplayer component, the Arena, to decide player rankings.
• Players can also join Clans, through which members fight a Demon Lord & a Hydra together, which brings advanced rewards.
• Players are guided in their efforts by a series of Quests, Missions, and Challenges that provide individual and cumulative rewards
• The game also features near non-stop Tournaments and Events to keep things interesting.
• Throughout the game, players accumulate Shards, vessels containing the souls of past champions.
  • The player must develop his champions guiding them as they gain levels through Experience, Promoting them, and gathering additional champions to their team.

• As to the mechanics involved:
  • The game has two forms of currency: Silver, which is relatively easy to come by, and Gems, which are a lot more difficult to acquire.
  • There is also a few other "scarce resources" associated with most activities that lead to progress.
  • These can be accumulated over time or purchased at a cost by the impatient.
    • Energy is required for campaign and dungeon battles.
    • Classic Arena Tokens & Tag Team Arena Tokens are required for various Arena battles
  • Also a number of different keys are required for various venues that don't depend on energy or tokens.
    • Faction Wars Keys are required for faction wars battles
    • Clan Boss Keys are required for Clan Boss Battles
    • Hydra Keys Hydra Keys are required for Hydra Battles
    • Doom Tower Keys of two sorts are required for Doom Tower Battles.
      • Doom Tower Gold Key Doom Tower Gold Keys are needed to complete any of the standard Doom Tower floors for the first time
      • Doom Tower Silver Keys are needed to complete any of the Doom Tower secret rooms and to replay "Boss floors" for additional loot.
  • Though these all accrue over time and the player receives gifts of them every day, they run out quickly. Very soon players will have to be very careful not to waste their limited resources.
