Clan Boss/Demon Lord[]

  • Clan members receive benefits simply for participating in the clan and checking in.
  • These benefits are greater if they participate in battling the Clan's Demon Lords.

Clan Boss Battles[]

Poor Planner

One poor planner can let down everyone. If Poor Planner had used his second key to battle the Normal Clan Boss he'd still receive the same reward from the EASY Clan boss and everone would be closer to defeating the Normal Boss

  • Clan Bosses or Demon Lords come in a number of difficulty levels.
    • Easy
    • Normal
    • Hard
    • Brutal
    • Nightmare
  • Every player accrues one Clan Boss key every six hours but will not be allowed to accrue more once the balance of two unused keys is reached.
  • Once one is a clan member these keys can be used to fight against Clan bosses of various difficulties and receive rewards based on the amount of damage that the player's teams have done.
  • When the Clan Boss reaches 50% his affinity changes
  • If a Clan manages to reach the Demon lord's daily life limit, all rewards earned by all clan members in battling against that Demon Lord are doubled.
  • These Clan Bosses (AKA Demon Lords) are immortal so even after their daily life limit has been reached clan members can continue to battle them.
  • The affinity of the Demon lord may change once again.
  • Clan bosses have four levels of prize chests available to those that battle them and the chest that is awarded depends on the level of damage the individual has done.
  • Individual members go up against the clan bosses of various levels.
  • The level of the chest one receives depends on reaching certain limits
  • Clan Bosses ALWAYS start at 10:00 UTC with Full HP and have a VOID affinity.
  • Once a Clan Boss reaches 50% of his hit points he will switch to a different affinity for the next battle and all subsequent battles until 10:00 UTC the next day.
  • Bosses that are defeated pay out two chests instead of one
  • Clan members can battle one or more Demon Lords and receive rewards in the form of Clan Boss Chests
  • Every player accrues one Clan Boss key every six hours but accrual stops once the balance of two unused keys is reached.
  • Once one is a clan member, these keys can be used to fight against Clan bosses of various difficulties
  • Rewards are based on the amount of damage that the player's teams have done.
  • Once the members of a clan have "defeated" the "Easy" Clan Boss, for the first time that will unlock the "Normal" clan boss and so on.

Clan boss levels[]

Clan Bosses2
  • Clan Bosses or Demon Lords come in a number of difficulty levels.
    • Easy
    • Normal
    • Hard
    • Brutal
    • Nightmare
    • Ultra-Nightmare

Clan Boss Strategies[]

  • Be aware of the 10 debuff limit.
  • Certain Debuffs are particularly effective when trying to score damage against a clan boss.
    • Poison is particularly effective. Even Kael's low level Dark Bolt Dark Bolt poison spell can quickly amount to a lot of damage e.g. 2.5% of even the Easy Clan bosses 19 Million Health points is a lot. His less frequent Disintegrate Disintegrate poison spell is twice as effective at 5%.
  • The Newest players may require using multiple keys to reach even the lowest levels to qualify for a reward chest.
  • If you're closely watching a Clan Boss battle and seeing that the RNG gods are going against you, you CAN bail out of a Clan Boss battle (and get your key back) by quitting out of the Raid: Shadow Legends game BEFORE finishing the battle.
  • More advanced players can skip the easier levels in order to qualify for the greater rewards offered by higher level bosses.
  • Once a player has reached the highest prize level for a given boss they should make a decision:
    • Continue to battle that same boss so as to make its defeat that day more likely
    • Move up to the next harder boss and start working toward the highest reward that he offers.
    • Each player should make that decision based on how he can maximize his reward and that of his fellows.
    • Clan Bosses (AKA Demon Lords) are immortal so even after their daily life limit has been reached clan members can still continue to battle them for guaranteed double chests.
  • In addition to the standard approaches, there are some combinations of champions that just work amazingly well when battling the Clan Boss.
  • In this video HellHades walks us through establishing what's called an Unkillable Team.

Guardian Chest Awarded by the Hard Clan Boss

  • Each of the various Clan bosses have four levels of prize chests available to those that battle them,
  • The type of chest that is awarded depends on the amount of damage the individual player has done.
  • A Warrior chest obtained from battling a Normal Demon lord has exactly the same pool of awards as does that of a Warrior Chest obtained from Battling an Easy Demon Lord.
  • Since Demon Lord prizes are doubled when the Demon Lord is defeated, most clans try and make certain that as many levels of difficulty are defeated each day as possible.
  • Often more powerful Clan members who could easily gain prizes at higher difficulty levels will help their clan-mates by ensuring that they contribute a battle (or two) to making certain that the lower level difficulty Clan Bosses are defeated.
