Classic Arena Bout Listing

The current roster of potential bouts. Each battle will cost you one Classic Arena token

  • The current list of potential bouts is accessed via the Battle Tab
  • For each potential bout you can see
    • The name and level of the player fielding that team as well as their current arena point standing
      • Higher level players often field deceptively easy and deceptively difficult defensive teams
    • The Champions that make up the opposing team and their levels
      • While level factors into the overall power rating some Arena contenders elect to avoid teams with too many team members outranking one's own
    • The power rating for the team as a whole
    • The Medals, Magisteel & Arena Points one may gain from winning
  • Power Ratings are a good basic indicator of team strength but cannot be the sole determinant.
    • The level of the opponent team members should also be considered apart from the overall rating
    • One must also be wary of Arena Nemeses, certain champions are unnaturally skilled in an arena setting
  • Determine which Champions you will field, or use one of your Stored Arena Teams.
  • Always consider a more in-depth Analysis of a Potential Bout

Battle Log[]

Arena Battle Log Offense with one loser

One Loss... and a new Arena Nemeses identified

The Battle Log consists of two sections; Offense and Defense

  • The Battle Log tab allows players to review their Arena battle history over the course of the past 24 hours, both in Offense and Defense.
  • This helps players track their most successful Arena Defense teams and review the teams they have the most trouble attacking in Arena Offense.

Offense Battle Log[]

These are the battles that you spent tokens to engage in.
If there are a lot of losses here you need to improve your bout picking ability

Defense Battle Log[]

Arena Battle Log Defense

The Defense Battle Log - Expect mostly defeats but do check the relative power of your opponents

These are the battles in which others chose to go up against your team
Losses here DO cost you points in the tier rating system but be sure to check the relative power rating of your opponents. If you're being beaten here by a lot of teams with lower power ratings you should probably re-examine your defense team composition.

Defense Team[]

  • While Defense teams may consist of as many as 4 of your champions, some players prefer to field weaker teams as defense so that they will not climb the tier structure too quickly
    • This primarily to avoid finding themselves facing hosts of potential fights that are unwinnable based on the advancement of their champions.
    • This also helps make the Arena a target rich environment with a few weak teams to exploit

Arena Tips & Tricks[]

  • Familiarize yourself with toughest Arena fighters by reviewing Arena Nemeses.
  • Even when you use auto resolution on an Arena bout, it's possible to designate a Prime Target by just left clicking on that champion once the match starts.
    • Consider using this on any Champions that do resurrections. Having them out of the way early stops your champions from starting a game of "Whack a Mole"
  • Check out the play by play of one match to pick up some points you may have missed amid the hurly burly and chaos of battle
  • Consider slowing down your climb to higher Arena teams and use the easier matches to gather as much loot as possible to improve your Great Hall. You can do that by fielding a WEAK defense team and if you find that you are regularly NOT using all your bout keys take on a few no-win matches. Losses will retard your climb into tougher tiers.
