Many Missions reward you for what you'd do anyway
Missions[]
- Missions are the game creator's way of encouraging you to explore the many aspects of the game
- Missions are one-time-only as opposed to Quests which are periodic & recurring
- Most Missions involve rewards for what you should be doing anyway in order to develop the most powerful team of champions that you can.
- Missions are predetermined and fall into 7 tiers usually with a number of different types in each tier
- Not only are rewards given for each completed mission, but additional, greater rewards are given for completing each tier
- While these are NOT time-limited like the Challenges that begin to feel like daily chores, it can be very rewarding to check these periodically to see if a bit of work might result in some very worthwhile rewards.
- These range in difficulty from Tier 1 Mission 1's "Summon 5 Champions from Mystery Shards" to Tier 7 Mission x's "Beat the Doom Tower Boss on the 120th Floor on Hard"
Mission Tiers[]
- Upon completion of ALL missions within a tier, the player receives the tier reward
- A new set of missions will then be revealed
- Some of these may already be considered complete and eligible for immediate mission rewards. e.g. the Tier 2 Mission "Fuse Justicier" need only be done once. If you do it while still finishing tier 1 missions, it will be tagged as done but you'll have to finish tier 1 before you can receive the reward for fusing Justiciar.

Mission Types[]
- Missions all fall into these types
- Artifact Missions - CAN be completed (but not rewarded) out of sequence
- Champion Missions

- Event Mission Event Missions
- Doom Tower Mission Doom Tower Missions
- Some missions will require you to complete another mission or tier of missions before making progress on them
- Other missions will allow you to progress but will not recognize them as complete until another mission or tier of missions is complete.
- Champion and Campaign missions will record progress prior to becoming the active (current) mission.
- Dungeon and Arena missions will NOT record any progress until they become the current mission.
- Altogether the missions come in seven chapters. Each mission within a chapter carries its own individual reward, then there is an substantial additional reward when the chapter is completed.
